Our Observations

What we’ve observed and why our mission is important:

The experience of university as an away-from-home phenomenon is rising in line with:

  • Affordable travel and global employment opportunities
  • Emerging markets, prosperity and the middle classes
  • Post-study visas and grants
  • Increasing influx of international students
  • The allure of English speaking markets

But:

  • Students lack the requisite resources to easily find a place to live
  • Students and landlords are under-equipped with the tools to engage with each other
  • Guarantors (parents/guardians) are unable to oversee and govern student
    living

The University Experience

The Landlord Dashboard

Provide access to data analytics on each dashboard to help your landlords understand the composition of their leads from your university. With this insight, the SPCE platform helps landlords determine which tenants to market to and how - a key a factor in ensuring the suitability of each student.

Instead of deducting fees from the rental the transaction (as is seen with the off-campus model), all rent is transferred into the universities account. This can be bolstered out for full property management facilities.
